Azahir Centros Comunitarios<\/strong> in North Lebanon<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Azahir<\/strong> runs two local community centers. One is in Nahr el Bared Palestinian Camp<\/strong>, which is 15km north of Tripoli. The other is in the remote village of Tel Maayan in Akkar Province, both in Northern Lebanon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nahr el Bared Palestinian Camp was established during the Nakba in 1948. It has transformed into an urban refugee camp hosting over 30,000 people. It is currently a zone controlled by checkpoints, has deteriorating basic services – its residents barred access & limited rights.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
